McDermott is rolling its Defy carbon fiber shaft into select G-Series cues as a standard option — meaning buyers can now get a factory carbon shaft on a sub-$700 McDermott without a separate shaft purchase.
What it means
Defy launched as a standalone shaft. Folding it into the G-Series configurator puts McDermott in the same game as Cuetec's bundled Cynergy cues: carbon performance without the $1,000-plus ticket.
The fine print
