How we test

Every review is based on hands-on play — typically two to four weeks of league nights, practice drills and match play across 9-ball, 8-ball and 10-ball. We evaluate:

• Hit and feedback: how the cue communicates contact
• Deflection: measured against a controlled baseline
• Build quality: joint tolerances, finish, straightness
• Value: performance relative to price

Scores

Score	Meaning
9.0+	Benchmark — best in class
8.0–8.9	Excellent, recommended
7.0–7.9	Good (right for specific players)
Below 7.0	We usually don't publish a full review
