Reading the table
- Type: playing, break, jump or break/jump combo
- Shaft: construction material; carbon and LD-wood shafts sit lower on deflection than standard maple
- Tip diameter: smaller tips reward precision; larger tips are more forgiving
- Joint: determines which aftermarket shafts fit the butt
