# Cuetec Cynergy SVB Gen 2 Review: The Smart Money Pick

The original Cynergy SVB proved a $750 cue could run with $1,300 flagships. The Gen 2 refines rather than reinvents — and that's exactly the right call.

## Overview

Shane Van Boening's signature cue keeps the 12.5mm Cynergy 15K carbon shaft and adds a reworked butt with updated cosmetics and a better weight system.

## Design & Materials

The Gen 2 butt is cleaner than the original — new collar design, tighter finish, and a wrapless forearm that feels premium in hand. Build quality is excellent for the price tier.

## Technology

The Cynergy 15K shaft uses a slightly different carbon layup than REVO. In practice: a touch more feedback, a touch less deadness. The 12.5mm diameter sits between REVO's 12.4 and 12.9 options.
