## Reading the table

- **Type:** playing, break, jump or break/jump combo
- **Shaft:** construction material; carbon and LD-wood shafts sit lower on deflection than standard maple
- **Tip diameter:** smaller tips reward precision; larger tips are more forgiving
- **Joint:** determines which aftermarket shafts fit the butt
